Skin Checks & Minor Surgery

Regular skin checks from about the age of 40 are recommended.  Although the risk of serious skin cancer in younger people is less, any new or changing mole (that is a brown or black skin spot) should be checked by your doctor. We use dermatoscopy to improve our diagnostic accuracy.   We can freeze pre-cancerous spots with Liquid Nitrogen, or perform minor surgery to remove suspicious lesions.  Referrals to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon can be arranged if needed.
